If you can still remember MV Doulos, you will have an idea what the MV Logos Hope is. It is a floating library or bookstore.

The Logos Hope docked in the port of San Fernando City, La Union or known as Poro Point, and will remain there until the second of June.

We had the chance to visit it after lunch today. After going to Luna, we headed to San Fernando to see the Logos Hope. I was not able to visit the MV Doulos when it went there when I was in High School.

It was a nice experience to see a ship with lots of books in it. They said, it contains about 5,000 book titles or more. They have volunteer crews from over 45 nationalities. They also have an international café. And they have a visual presentation of the Journey of Life which is based on the Prodigal Son.

There are a lot of people who went there a while ago, young and old alike. My mother bought some books. I just looked at the books but I didn’t buy because I don’t have extra money for that. I am contented with the free books or pamphlets they gave.

Our entrance fee was 20 pesos or that is equivalent to $0.50 and free for senior citizens and children 12 and below.

I think their next destination here in the Philippines will be in Puerto Princesa in Palawan, but unconfirmed yet. Next countries will be Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. +MVLogosHope
