I started hearing about the Huff Mansion in the Ozarks a couple of years ago. At the time it was rumored to be more than 60,000 square feet with ten bedrooms, three kitchens, three full grids of solar panels and the ability to operate completely off the grid.

Official Name: Pensmore (http://www.pensmore.com) Size: 72,000 square feet Land Size: 500 acres Location: 2700 Woods Fork Road, Highlandville, Missouri Zoning: Residential - Single Family Residence Owner: Stephen Huff Project Budget: Undisclosed Start Date: 2007 Completion Date: 2013

Materials Used: Helix steel fibers, TransForm cooling system, geothermal heat exchangers, solar panels, water filtration and purification system, bulletproof glass (Pacific Bulletproof).

A lot of conspiracy theorists believe that when the New World Order takes over, Pensmore will be the new capitol. Part of that is credible because of the reinforced walls, underground tunnels and the close proximity to several underground storage facilities.

The fact that it is fortified and can withstand a E5 tornado (of which there have only been 59 documented E5 tornados in the United States since 1950) could mean that it was built with such a strong skeleton to protect against attacks or assaults.

The Illuminati conspiracy theorists believe that Pensmore is already being used to store crude oil in its underground holding tanks as well as water, non-perishable foods and gold. There is some truth to that though; there is a vast underground system of tunnels that are connected to pre-existing natural caves as well as man made tunnels.

It seems odd that such a massive building would be erected in this area and that it is something that's considered a single family dwelling. Maybe there's a nifty little loophole about only the upper section of a residential living space that needs to be disclosed to the planning board. Whatever the case, the phrase "money is no object" definitely applies here.

This article was much longer and had more photos of the Huff property attached to it; when the site converted it was purged into the cyberspace void.

The 72,000 square feet that is listed on building permits is only for what can be seen; whatever has been excavated underground may or may not be included in the total square feet. It is a guarded area however there are no "No Trespassing" signs more than 500 feet from the designated construction area. Tours have been given of the property in the past to show the eco-friendly and sustainability of the structure however the internal core hasn't been filmed or photographed.

When people started feeling more earthquakes in the area they immediately started saying that it was because of the massive amount of construction that was happening in the area. When there is a jump from 36 recorded events in 2009 to over 750 in 2011 you have to wonder what is causing them; fracking in the area plays a huge part in the tremors and actual recorded quakes but that much of a jump should have had geologists scratching their head and trying to figure out exactly what was happening in the region. You can read more about the earthquakes in the area at the government site for geology.

Huff is a millionaire and an investor in companies that specialize in sustainability however he's also strongly connected to companies that have military contracts. While that could pose a conflict of interest if Huff were still working for the CIA or NSA, he is retired from all government positions. Even so, sinking seven million dollars (or more) in to a 'home' seems a little strange. The building is phenomenal and structurally stunning but are we really expected to believe that it's going to be used for Huff and his extended family to live in?

The amount of secrecy surrounding Pensmore is enough to make it suspect; it could just be a major investment for Huff to use as a working model for a new form of sustainable housing but if that were the case, why have bulletproof windows? Some might say that it's to prevent damage or injury in the case of a tornado or earthquake but when you start reading about it, it seems massively excessive.

If you read about conspiracy theories you will come across a lot of information about the Huff mansion, how the structure is being promoted as a "safe dwelling" for people in case of a natural disaster and if weather manipulation in the area is being used. While some of that sounds outlandish, what if even a fraction of it is true?
