Gul Dixon was a remarkable woman. She knew 5 languages, was an Interpreter at the UN. She lived 10 lives in her one lifetime. And yesterday her family had a celebration of her life at George Washington's River Farm, American Horticultural Society in Alexandria, Virginia.
Her daughter had a display of pictures, stories of her many accomplishments. Gul loved flowers and there were tons of them from friends and all around the beautiful grounds.
World Traveler, Wife, Artist, Writer, Mother, Athlete, Friend, Daughter, Aunt and Sister, this is what was displayed of this loving, strong willed, compassionate, Remarkable woman, that I will never, ever forget. She made me laugh ,cry and was always there for me and for my Miss Daisy.
And it was very hard to say good-bye to her.
She is pain free and at peace now.
“Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”

Photos, her crafts, and many awards for her accomplishments She knitted beautiful baby outfits up to a few months before she passed The Beautiful grounds at The River Farm Here comes the Sun~ The rain stopped just in time for her service.
