I love Google+ but catching up with everything my friends and connections post can be challenging. And it gets even worse with Communities.
If you use Chrome, you are in luck. I found a really great extension that has made my experience on the social network much more enjoyable.
Created by YungSang Jeon, "Google+ Communities Notifications" allows you to get notifications of all your Google+ Communities from anywhere.
The extension is located here: yungsang.com/google+/communitiesnotifications/. Make sure you read the "FAQ" area of the page to install it properly.
Communities appear in tabs and are sorted by the number of new updates. When clicking on a tab, the latest posts will be revealed.
The extension uses different colors:
- Pink means new posts.
- Yellow means that the content has generated engagement (+1'd, shares, and comments) or been updated.
- White means that nothing has changed.
