The ASPCA and Nickelodeon joined forces in a partnership on a new primetime preschool series called “PAW Patrol’’. The show will air on Monday, August 12 at 8:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. Central) on the Nickelodeon channel.

The preschool program is an action type adventure where six puppies, which are heroic stars in the series. The puppies are called Chase (German Shepherd), Marshall (Dalmatian), Rocky (mixed breed), Zuma (Chocolate Labrador), Rubble (English bulldog) and Skye (Cockapoo) who share the screen with Ryder, a ten-year old boy.

The puppies and the boy work together on rescue missions, problem solving, stressing the importance of teamwork, friendship, community, citizenship and much, much more.

This is an educational and fun show for preschoolers. Children will learn skills, all about rescuing animals and enjoy watching all the adventures the “PAW Patrol” will provide.

There is also an exclusive activity kit that is available on the ASPCA site to get your child more involved with multiple coloring pages and a pet adoption checklist with the puppy characters from the show to enjoy even when the show ends.
