Have you heard all the buzz about The Honest Toddler versus Jessica Alba's company The Honest Company? If you're a parent and you're not following Honest Toddler on Facebook or Twitter, oh my gosh, you must. Stinking hilarious. Well apparently Jessica's company, which makes diapers, shampoos, etc., lacks a sense of humor. They think the creator of Honest Toddler needs to bail on the brand she's built, it seems, because people might get confused. Even though oh, you know, nobody is. This has been going on for a while, but it seems it's reaching an ugly boil-over point right now.
Granted there are two sides to every story. I have been a fan of Honest Toddler for a long time, and I've pretty much never been a fan of Alba. I've worked in marketing. I think Honest Company is making some stupid moves here. But hey, maybe I'm biased because I've mostly heard the side of the Honest Toddler creator. Still... good grief, Honest Company, you're making a mountain out of a mole hill!
