Liking her doesn't make it acceptable to damage her property. I have never slapped someone and haven't been slapped. I never get the urge to slap someone.

hahahahahahah!!!! Yes on the angry side of the woman... but as an audience of this drama like scenario... if I were the girl I'll have this cute feeling... but on second thought if the girl doesn't like the guy and found out what he did... I guess she'll really slap him added that she's going out with somebody else that she really like. Girls does not want to look bad in front of the guy they like..

This is really cute when they are really meant for each other hahaha!

I think your co-worker guy has seen too many movies and forgot this was real life. Yes, I've slapped a couple of men in my day, because they were annoyingly harassing me thinking they were being flirty. It shocked them, but they left me alone.

Traditionally a slap to the face was reserved for women who did not appreciate the unwanted advances of a man. Many times I have wanted to slap a man's face for being fresh with me but there was always a fear inside that he may retaliate with worse and so instead of "fight" I chose "flight". What your colleague did to that woman's tire was way out of line and I agree with others here. He deserves to be arrested for vandalism at the very least and certainly stalking. I would have done much worse than give him a simple slap to the face if he had pulled such a stunt with my property!

She should have called the police and gotten him arrested for vandalism or destruction of property instead. He's lucky all he got was a slap because he could have gotten arrested and lost his job. Maybe she was actually doing him a favor by slapping him instead of ruining his career over his vandalism and stalking?

No one should be slapped in the face. It is a huge insult and quite frankly assault. I can understand the gal being mad about the tire, but she had no right to slap this fellow. When I was a teenager I took to slapping people a couple of times and it was wrong. Thankfully no one slapped me back.

I have never slapped anyone as I don't want anyone slapping me. Women seem to slap men when they are upset with something they have done. Maybe that slapped was to wake him up from his wrong doing, but no one deserves to be slapped.

Honestly, I guess I haven't much room to comment here as I've NEVER done this before. The only times I've slapped someone was my husband in joking and that was a tap not a slap.

However, if he was making unwanted advances to her, I say he deserved it very much. The key word here being IF he was. We may never know the full story, but it seems that might be a plausible explanation.

I think he deserved the slap! But NOT in the workplace!

I have never slapped a man in the face. Agreed that the women were out of line.

I've never slapped anyone but men have punched, kicked, scratched, bitten (the list goes on...) me. They wouldn't get away with it now, I'd rip their arms off, but I was younger then. I wasn't brought up with violence of any degree (I wasn't disciplined physically) so I don't ever assume that I can get someone to listen to me or do what I want, or repent for their sins against me, by slapping them or using any other form of violence. It's all entirely unnecessary, and it's ugly :)

Did my colleague in this situation deserve a slap? He is lucky that is all that happened. She works in HR and could have brought charges of vandalism against him.

What situations do women slap men? That is an open question as it pertains to their emotional state at the time.

Have you slapped someone? No I am a man and would not hit a woman, and if I slap a man I have intentions of doing even more bodily harm.

Have you ever been slapped? Yes by my Father and by my wife that said she was sleep at the time she slapped me. She still laughs about it.
