A human skeleton found in France, nick named the +Giant of +Castelnau, measures 11 feet 6 inches

It's one of the largest human beings ever discovered. The bones were found by an anthropologist in a Bronze age cemetery in France. The height of the individual was estimated to be around 3.5 meters(or 11'6"). The bones were estimated to be from the Neolithic period, so somewhere between
10 and 12 thousand years.

Scientists who studied the bones later found them to be human, and from a very tall race. Regardless, though they still thought that the bones represented an individual who had abnormal growth. However, other bones of similar sizes have been discovered in other French cemeteries.
