Since it is used so much it is good that your educational system made it a compulsory subject. You do well with your use of English since it is a secondary language for you.

&mohakanari I think if you have a love of learning and are interested in the subject like I am, anyone will do well at it. My Mum and Dad also spoke different languages at home so it seemed easy to learn.

I am from West +Bengal; our +Medium of education was obviously +Bengali but English was a compulsory subject and each and everybody had to pass it like any other subject. But now a days most of the students whose parents have the financial stability go to English medium schools for better placement in life. I think it is the +"order of the day" everywhere in India. English being an international language, nobody can ignore its importance in life. So, I support this attitude of people to English.

Here in the UK, the home of the English language we had two different English classes. English Language and English Literature. Only one foreign language was compulsory which I thought wasn't enough so I learnt more on my own. I am now fluent in 5 languages and know enough in 3 others to get by if I went on holiday. Languages are fantastic and I feel the more I know, the better!
