1 cup rice
Bunch of Corriander leaves(Kottimeera),Size depends on your taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 medium sized onion
3-4 tsp grated coconut
1 tsp coconut milk(Optional,Adds better taste)
4-5 green chilli
1)Take oil in a pan(choose pressure cooker if you like to cook rice in pressure cooker or a pan if you like to cook in rice cooker),Add cumin seeds ,let it fry in oil for a minute.
2)Add green chilli(no need to chop),slightly chopped one onion and fry untill onion gets transluent.
3)Add grated coconut,corriander leaves bunch(cut stem ends) and turn off the heat.Don't keep the heat after adding corrainder leaves,Just turn off immediately.
4)Let it cool and make fine paste of the fried mixture and keep aside.
5)Heat Pan(or pressure cooker again) ,add oil,add chopped onion and fry for 2 minutes.
6)Add paste and let it fry for a minute.
7) Take the cleaned rice ,add water(2 cups for rice cooker,1 and half cup for pressure cooker) ,above mixture,salt,Coconut milk to your rice cooker or pressure cooker and cook it(2 whistles only if you are using pressure cooker).
