Out with the 'Granny' term. It is really time for a change. Some in our family were given such afghans while in hospitals. Very nice gesture and hours of work dedicated to the project.

I love that, too. I never thought of the whole "granny" square thing. I'm a Boosha, Buscia or Babska (Polish). I love the square blankets, anything that is pick up and go.

I love this and I love that afghan how beautiful it is and it is a wonderful thing that you do for those in need, sometimes a warm blanket is more comforting then people realize.
