I was laughing at &Sassymouth 77 and her post and it reminded me of something that happened to me post..lol. Yesterday, I got off from and went to my mom's house to visit her and to see my aunt and my cousin's that are visiting. When I got to the house, nobody was there so I took that as a chance to take a quick nap before watching my Soap at 7:00 p.m. As I was tried to rest, I began to smell this foul odor.
I said to myself, nobody is here but me and my mom's house has NEVER smelled like this. So, I put my head back down and turned over. That smell would not leave. It seemed like it was around me. I began to sniff myself because I did just get off from work. In the back of my mind I said, “Lord, if this is me, I need some help.”
Afterwards, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't me so I looked around. I couldn't figure out what that odor was or where it was coming from. I got back on the sofa again. The smell was beginning to kick into high gear so I was convinced that it had to be me.
Maybe I stepped in doggie poop because I did sort of park in the grass. So, this time I thought to myself, let me sniff one more time just to make sure it wasn't me. Whew, it wasn't me! By this time, I decided to lean my head over the side of the sofa to look under the chair. I saw a bag but I thought perhaps, I left the bag while I was doing my daughter's hair the night before.
As my head went lower, it was almost landed in the bag nose first. The stinch was fuming and I could not stand it. That's when I discovered that someone had left a baby diaper in a bag in front of the sofa. It was a smell that I have not come in touch with in a while. I had forgotten how diapers smell...lol. At the same time, I was truly happy and relieved to know that it was not me smelling stinky. Be blessed and have a laugh on me today!
