These past few weeks, I am always craving for empanada (meat pie) particularly the recipe from Ilocos province, Philippines. This is special because it has unique taste apart from other meat pies in the country. I usually bought this at Banchetto (a food banquet) near our office. These are served with an authentic taste because their ingredients are straight from Ilocos province. I like the special one with veggies, egg, special Ilocos longganisa to season with its best tandem vinegar (that's brown in color).

There are other franchise stores offering same Ilocos empanada, I bought one yesterday at the food court of one famous mall. That is equally delicious as well. I want it especially if it is prepared at front of me-- from the bare dough, to the actual mixing and frying. This is indeed a must try!
