Sony is holding their E3 2013 press conference on June 10. The company is expected to announce several new video games for the PS4 in addition to other details. To further build up momentum for their system, Sony should announce the following exclusive first-party video games:
Naughty Dog has two development teams: one that worked on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and the other that is developing The Last of Us. Announcing Uncharted 4 at E3 2013 makes sense because Uncharted is one of Sony’s most popular and critically-acclaimed intellectual properties. It would also be the perfect showcase for the PS4 graphics capabilities.
The Last Guardian
The Last Guardian was originally a PS3 exclusive video game before running into development issues. With the PS4 having more power and being easier to develop for, the platform switch should help Team Ico finally finish the troublesome project. The Last Guardian already looks good on the PS3 and it will look even better for the PS4.
Demon’s Souls 2
From Software may have moved on with the Dark Souls series but Sony still have the rights to the Demon’s Souls brand. A sequel to the cult hit video game will help the PS4 win over the hardcore audience and Japanese fan base.
