Ever wondered how you can install or flash an Update ROM or a Custom ROM for your android phone? It's plain simple and easy! Follow the steps below to know how.
But before anything else, let me just brief you with what AIO Flasher is. AIO Flasher is an android-based flashing software that lets you modify your android phone's overall system. It lets you flash an Update ROM or a Custom ROM with the benefit of "NOT LOSING" any of your precious files - because it would not factory reset your phone (which is SOMETIMES required by other Custom ROMs before flashing them).
As long as the image files you will flash have no built-in scripts of auto-resetting your phone into factory defaults, your files are safe. Just do a backup of your files if you really have doubts.
The android phone that I am using right now is Cherry Mobile Flare - which is based on Karbonn A9+. This would be the sample device where I will base my instructions. Okay. So without further ado, let's start the tutorial. === Tool/s to be Used:
3.) Your Update/Custom ROM's Image Files.
If you have downloaded a .zip/.rar file that contains your image files, be sure that you would extract them out first into a location you prefer.
**For Cherry Mobile Flare users, you can use these image files that are based on Stock ROM v31 (Rooted by default, and with updated features).
Download it here: tinyurl.com/xv31FlareImageFiles
4.) Your Android Phone's PC Drivers. (this is not required if you have already connected or if you can connect your phone into your computer successfully.)
These drivers are built-in with your device, and when you connect your device into a computer, they would AUTOMATICALLY be installed. But if that doesn't happen, search your device's respective PC Drivers.
**For Cherry Mobile Flare users, if your phone doesn't automatically install the drivers, just download the drivers and install it manually.

=== Important Note/s:
1.) Make sure that your android device's "USB Debugging" option is checked/enabled before proceeding.
**For Cherry Mobile Flare users, you can do that by navigating through Settings > Developer options > USB Debugging.
2.) Some Update/Custom ROM's have a "Root" built-in with them. That is why you can also root your android device using this. Just choose those .img files that fit your preference - whether rooted or not. (Most Custom ROM's are rooted.)
So let's start!Step 1: BOOT YOUR PHONE INTO "FASTBOOT" MODE.
Turn off your android device and boot it into fastboot mode.
**For Cherry Mobile Flare users, you can do this by PRESSING and HOLDING the POWER BUTTON and VOLUME "UP" BUTTON at the same time for several seconds until your phone shows a "GREEN" Screen.
Step 2: CONNECT IT INTO YOUR COMPUTER.This picture shows the Image Files.
(These are Cherry Mobile Flare Stock ROM v31's Image Files).Step 3: OPEN AIO FLASHER.
You would see stuffs like what you see in the picture.Concentrate on this part of the Flasher.
Step 4: CHOOSE THE .IMG FILE YOU WOULD FLASH.
Choose - by clicking on the radio-button of the corresponding .img file that you would flash.
Take Note that:
Boot = boot.img
Recovery = recovery.img
System = system.img
Step 5: PRESS SELECT FILE AND BROWSE THE CORRESPONDING .IMG FILE.
After selecting the radio-button of what you want to flash, press "Select File" and browse and select the corresponding .img file. Refer to the picture.Step 6: TICK/CHECK "ERASE" BOX.
After selecting the corresponding .img file, tick/check the Erase box. This would erase the system boot/recovery/system img in your device NOT your files.
Step 7: PRESS "FLASH".
You would notice that after pressing Flash, the word "Flash" would change to "Flashing". This means that the AIO Flasher is under the flashing procedure. Once this "Flashing" word becomes "Flash" again, it means that the flashing procedure is done.
You may now proceed to the next .img file to be flashed.Step 8: BE MINDFUL OF THE REBOOT MENU.
After flashing all the necessary .img files of your Update/Custom ROM, choose "From Fastboot" from the drop-down menu, then press "Reboot".
