Cabuk Rambak Solo (Indonesia) is a typical food made from black sesame. This meal serves as an appetizer, so size is not how big and one serving does not make satiety. Usually made from rice ketupat thinly sliced, then doused with sesame sauce mixed with grated coconut and pecans are roasted first.
This simple dish once nearly extinct, but now becoming popular again. Rambak eaten with the original version (skin crackers). However, because of expensive rambak, now replaced with karak (gendar crackers). And that makes it more special, this meal is a favorite food the second President of Indonesia, Mr. Soeharto.
