Here is a news story about a little girl with a brain malformation. The disease is rare and consists of the brain missing the capillaries, which are blood vessels needed to slow blood flow from high pressure arteries to low pressure veins. Only 6 years old, a special dye had been injected by doctors to highlight blood vessels in her brain. Declared cured, they brought her mother in to hear the good news. Most children die of heart failure because this is too much for the heart to handle, but not in this case. Hopefully this will ensure that other kids have the same opportunity in the future to be saved just as this little girl has.
