You’ve probably seen the statue perhaps once in your lifetime. It’s the statue of a man on a horse to commemorate a warrior or a statesman. There is a significance as to how the horse stands.
If the horse’s two front legs are in the air, the person had died fighting in a battle. If only one front leg is in the air, the person had died because of wounds sustained during battle. If all four legs are firmly grounded, that means the person had died of natural causes.
