How many of you are excited for SIMS 4? I know I am. But I'm also a little wary. Here's why.
The Sims is a game which basically puts you in the position of GOD. You create people, and generally control their lives, and how they interact with the world around them. But being God by yourself can be a little boring, right? I mean, who wants to be playing by themselves the entire time? That is why the gaming world created the multiplayer mode.
Now, Sims attempted this with Sims 3, but I don't think they really mastered it. Yes, the graphics and engineering have improved again for Sims 4, but it's still the same game. I want them to master the concept of multiplayer, and actually provide a platform for it. Where friends can really play together in the online world, and maybe even create servers where they can create their own. Wouldn't that be great? And maybe even have a typing feature that allows you to communicate directly with other players.
Also, have you noticed that the pricing for Sims is continuing the rise? What gives, guys? You already have a seriously huge fan base. I'm pretty sure to can maintain your salaries without hiking up the price. Come on.
Anyway. That being said, I am looking forward to the new SIMS 4, but that feature will be a serious consideration factor for if I actually buy it.
