Bessie Vining Bolte, my great aunt is my featured ancestor for this week.
Bessie Vining was born on October 5, 1887, in Wilson, Kansas. Her father, Henry, was 50 and her mother, Nancy, was 36. Bessie was the 9th of 13 children.
Bessie married Edward McClullen Bolte on December 26, 1906, in Woodward, Oklahoma. They had seven children in 12 years. Their names were Floyd Leon Bolte, Hazel Irene Bolte, Roy Edward Bolte, Viola Mae Bolte, Ruth Lucille Bolte, Lewis Elbert Bolte, and Wanda Lee Bolte.
