I could be wrong because I don't make the rules around here but I just want to kindly remind people that what can be said in a bar, Facebook or even your personal blog may not necessarily be appropriate around here.
The "F" word is a definite no-no. And I suspect the "S" word is too. Bubblews has a clause which includes people from refraining being either vulgar or objectionable.
So I looked up said unmentionable word on thesaurus.com for some ideas and added some of my own that you might use in its place but other people might have some additional suitable PG-friendly suggestions depending on if you're using it as a verb, noun or adjective...
Am I just being a prude about this? I'm seeing the word pop up lately on comments and posts and if it's okay there, can you imagine it in headlines? I think if NBC censors bleep it out then it's not family appropriate and doesn't have a place here.
I don't have anything against the writers who've been using the "s" word up until now because they may not realize it's inappropriate here but I could be wrong. What do you think? Got any four letter CLEAN words that can be used as acceptable alternatives?
If NBC Censors Tried to Bleep Out Jacqueline Bissets Curse Word Its Probably Not Appropriate on Bubblews Either...
On the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, NBC Censors were ill prepared for Jacqueline Bisset to use the "S" word and they bleeped part of what she said and then lifted their finger too soon and it slipped out onto the live broadcast, to be preserved and replayed on viral video for all time.
