People who live in the southern part of the United States may consider themselves very fortunate. This is so true when it comes to the cold winters people in the northern and eastern parts of the United States must deal with. Most of the homes that sell well off the coasts of Virginia, Florida, Georgia and Alabama do well. They make for great retreats during the winter holidays.
What happens when the cold winter follows people? Many people who flee to the south may have thought that they were also fleeing those cold temperatures in the upper states. That is not always so. Weather can be unpredictable at times.
Many of the states in the south saw temperatures close to zero. Who would have though they would have seen temps at twenty degrees for a high in Atlanta or even Jacksonville? Never forget your coat when you go south. Winter likes to vacation in the south as well.
And remember, never to take the winter cold for granted. Death never takes a holiday, even if cold and warm spells do.
