Hale & Hearty Drops the C-Word in Email Blast

I nearly fell off my chair when this email popped up in my inbox yesterday morning. I usually don’t read junk email, but Hale and Hearty is across the street from my office and sometimes they have good daily lunch deals. The first thing that caught my eye was the date-so I kept reading and well, see below what it said:

On Wednesday, January 30, 2008 we will celebrate the opening of our Livingston, NJ location by inviting all our loyal Hale and Hearty customers as well as your friends and family to enjoy a free cup of soup at our newest location at 464 West Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. As an added bonus: Mary- you know the cunt from 47th street- will serve you personally in any manner you choose. so cum one and all to our new location at 464 West Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ.

The suits over at Hale and Hearty have quite a mess to clean up and are are saying "our email system may have been tampered with." Well, I certainly hope that is the case! Now everyone and their mother is using this "obscene" email as an excuse to get a free cup of soup!
