The Atlantic Club Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey has been in dire financial straits for a while and has announced that it will close its doors in January. Caesars Entertainment has agreed to purchase the property and hotel for $15 million, and Tropicana Entertainment is buying the tables and slot machines for $8.4 million.

The troubled casino had made an agreement to be purchased by online poker giant PokerStars earlier this year, but the casino backed out of the deal. PokerStars instead invested in rival casino Resorts.
