Sh-Sh-Sh-Sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh...... Be Vewy, vewy quiet, I'm hunting Wabbits.... Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha... Elmer Fudd, Famous Rabbit Hunter
Yes, it is true, I am one of those evil monsters consumed by the need to hunt down the Easter Bunny, before he can scatter those colored eggs all over the world....
Hunting Rabbits is pretty fun, if you do it right. I catch 5 or five a season... The limit is 5 a day... It isn't that I can't find that many, I just can't eat that many... I also hunt them for bounty in the spring, as they can really be a pest to crop farmers...

I use a Pellet rifle to hunt with. Many people think of Pellet rifles as a toy for children and some really are.
Some are really not meant for children at all...

This is my .22 caliber Benjamin Titan Pellet Rifle. It is a single shot, nitrogen piston, break barrel model. It was $109.00 from Walmart 6 or 7 years ago, they are a few dollars more...
I am giving this rifle to a friend for Christmas.
He went hunting with me last year...
He had a .177 caliber Pellet rifle, which is the smallest & "fastest" size Pellet...
Fast, or muzzle velocity means little in hunting...
Many times, he hit a Rabbit, and it took off running...
Why? The Pellet went right though the rabbit so fast, the Rabbit didn't know it had been shot....

When I shoot a Rabbit with the .22 caliber, it KNOWS something just happened,
for a split second.. WAP!

There has been a new caliber of Nitrogen Charged Rifle released By Benjamin...
It is .25 caliber.... only .03 bigger??? What gives?

The amount of LEAD that goes down range...
The impact upon arrival...

A small .177 has almost 1/3 more "power" at the muzzle than does the same model in .22 ....
40 yards down range, the .22 is still moving at almost the same speed it left the rifle,
and the lighter .177 has arrived with 48% less power than it left the rifle with... It's Physics...

The .25 caliber fires a pellet almost 4 times the size as a .177 caliber does,
taking 4 times the energy down range...

It would be like hunting rabbits,
with a cannon....

The Benjamin Trail .25 cal pellet gun sells for (US)$299.00 plus shipping....

I know this, because I just ordered one...
I can't wait!
