The Indiana Pacers had no trouble with the Houston Rockets on Friday night (Dec. 20), beating them 114-81 at home. The team out-scored the Rockets by at least five points in each of the four quarters. It was an ugly blowout, with the Pacers flat out embarrassing a Rockets team trying to prove they are elite this season.

The Rockets shot just 38.1 percent from the field, led by 19 points from Dwight Howard and 14 points from Chandler Parsons. Six players scored in double-figures for the Pacers, with Paul George leading the way. He finished with 24 points and nine rebounds on the night.

This win improved the Pacers to 21-5 on the season and kept the team atop the Eastern Conference standings. The team is also now 12-1 at home, which sits as the second best home record in the NBA. The team will have to fight hard to hold off the 20-6 Miami Heat though.
