The non-fictional Piper Kerman was born to a life of privilege but instead squandered it on a debauched life. After falling in with a bunch of reprehensible drug dealers - and it wasn't simply weed – she was convicted of money laudering and served over a year in jail.

Not cowed by this experience, Kerman wrote a “tell-all” book about her prison experiences and made even more money. What a wonderful example for all of our young children.

What do you think of the TV series, Orange is the New Black? Is she the new McMurphy for this generation or not?
