I remembered to watch Moonshiners on Tuesday and was happy that I did. It was one of the best reality TV Christmas shows that I've watched this year. The Moonshiners Christmas. It was nice to see that they are like normal people and it was a treat that they invited the viewing audience to join them as they celebrate Christmas. The show opened with Josh and Cutie Pie going out in the woods to chop down a Christmas tree. He said the best tree to get, that lasted the longest was the Fraser fir tree. This is the first time that Josh has shown his daughter. I didn't even know he had a daughter and she is so cute. They made cookie ornaments. Josh said that neither of them have baked before and this was their first time. Then they decorated the tree with colorful ornaments along with their homemade ornaments. When he asked his daughter what she wanted Santa to bring, she told him that she wanted a pony.

Tim was home from his legal moonshine making in a distillery. He organized a dinner for the community to help raise money for the volunteer fire department. The dinner looked so good. I was wishing that we lived close by so we could attend and have some of that delicious chicken. Tim is the captain of the fire department.

Bill made chairs for his parents. I must say he did a great job. I wish he would make us chairs. Bill is really talented in making things like that.

Mark and Jeff went hunting for wild pigs. They shot one and cooked it up for their Christmas dinner for the family. Jeff made brandy for the adult guests.

Tickle, well, Tickle was the narrator and he even shared some recipes. One was for a pineapple casserole. You can find his recipe here; dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/moonshiners/videos/tickles-pineapple-casserole-recipe.htm#mkcpgn=fbdsc36

I checked out the Moonshiners Facebook page and discovered that many people are wanting his recipe.
