For all of you who read my previous over excited posts about Comet Ison this ones for you.
The comet came within a few million miles of the Sun and at first it was reported it disintergrated.
News Stations from all round the world reported "Comet Ison Dead".
Well it is amazing these days how they can get it so wrong and love to be negative.
It does look like Comet Ison did break up or melt as it is made of ice.
But it now looks like a small part of it did survive.
This may now brighten and we may still see it in the coming months.
There is also a possibility that it's light will fade.
The scientists cannot tell this at the moment but in the coming days and weeks all will become clear.
So lets hope we have our Chrsitmas Comet after all.
