I agree 100% There are more gay people today then ever before and that is because of the breakdown of the family. Male and females are afraid, confused and intimidated by one another for many reasons but I blame the breakdown of the family for the rise in homosexuality and I agree that it is very destructive to our society! Thanks for having the courage to write on this!

&Bonsjeans You just keep on telling yourself that and I am sure that you can continue to delude yourself. I am sure that your self righteous holier than thou attitude will see you through. For my part I am done with this, I don't need to press my point. We will never agree and that's fine with me so go ahead and get your last words in, which I am sure must be terribly important to you. I won't be bothering to check this page again. There are nicer people here to chat with that aren't so intolerant and bigoted.

Still, I have to say that you have been entertaining if nothing else, my wife and I have had fun reading your comments, and I simply cannot wait to read your next posts. Perhaps a review of how the Bible says that it's ok to sentence a woman to death for not being a virgin on the night of her wedding, Deuteronomy 22:13-22. That would solve our overpopulation issues right there.

Hateful? How?
Was just quoting the Bible which every Christian believes.
If you don't believe it then you cannot be Christian.
Simple.

&Bonsjeans So after judging the gay community and branding them all as sinners and evil (your words not mine) you now see fit to judge me as unfit to be a Christian? How dare you. Being Christian to me is more than blindly following an ancient script. It is about being the best person I can be. As a father, a husband and a son I get up each morning, pray with thanks for the many blessings I have received and live my day minute to minute and hour to hour the best way I can.

I read some of your posts about this and was absolutely shocked and appalled that anyone would write such hateful things in a public forum. What these people do in their private lives is their own choice and if you cannot say anything nice, you should turn the other cheek, keep your nose out of their business as it affects you not one bit, and learn some tolerance. Save your anger for those more deserving of it.

I have to disagree with you. I think it should be accepted and,in fact it is becoming more and more accepted. People are realizing it is wrong to discriminate against the gay/lesbian and transgendered community. It is actually legal in some states for gays to marry each other and I think that is great! There is no reason in the world why they should not be allowed to be married and to love each other. You have no right to judge who can and cannot be in love. Love has no race, color or gender. Love is just love. I can't wait to see the first married gay couple adopt a child. I know they will love that child and give the kid a great home. They will probably be the happiest family in the world at that time :)

You cannot call yourself a Christian with strong beliefs if you do not believe the Bible as God’s Truth and if you do not acknowledge that God calls homosexuality an abominable sin. Read it and believe it or don’t call yourself a Christian.

What do you believe if you don't believe the Bible as being from God our Creator?
Do you live by man's everchanging 'standards' based on the sinful whims of man?
I choose to follow the one who made me.
He gave man a choice in the garden. One simple little rule they could not follow and so he kicked them out the garden.
What is your fate going to be by doing so much worse?
I have made some posts concerning this subject and know what God says and choose to obey it.
What do you know and who said it?

I completely agree with &Zakmoonbeam in this matter. I think it is ridiculous that Christians are so bias, and so judgmental towards other people and they say that it is because it is, "God's word," if your God is so all high and mighty, and so wonderful, then why is he (is it even a he?) degrading, denouncing, and persecuting people who HE GAVE THE CAPABILITY OF BEING IMPERFECT, all well knowing that they would fall onto so. God gave humans the ability to fall into sin, and it is those who fall into sin, who are condemned. Now most people say that those who are gay are sinning and should be punished... I think differently. It is not a sin to love, and if it is a sin to love someone of the same sex, then it must also be a sin to love my pet cat - I mean she isn't the same species as me but she is female... (o.o). See how ridiculous this sounds? Love is universal - so it shouldn't matter. I can't believe that people still have a problem with this. You don't have to live it, or see it, or deal with it. So be done with it already. lol.

Sorry if I sounded harsh in any shape or form.

&Bonsjeans you say that Christians cannot accept if they believe the Bible. That holds no problem for me. I am a Christian, but I believe the bible not to be God's word. It was written by men, plain and simple. If it was God's word in the beginning, which of course is a possibility, then it has been corrupted by men over countless translations and generations to fit their own prejudices, adding here and removing there to suit the political and religious purposes of the time.

Why is it we feel the need to pick on different groups and tell them how inferior their views, beliefs or preferences are? The persecutions of Jews, so called witches, homosexuals, lesbians, Muslims, when are we all going to start looking inside ourselves to see what we are doing is wrong by spreading hate and judging our fellow humans.

He did move on.
He decided to let people choose without having to face the consequences now.
He will judge them later when it is too late for them to change.

There are a lot of things unacceptable in God's word, and acts that we should be doing according to the Bible - such as stoning people. Life moves on. So should your God.

Christians cannot accept it if they believe the Bible.
I have recently written about the relevant verses which show God hates it.

I cannot understand that in this day and age we still have such an issue with gay people. If two people care for each other, love each other and want to be together, what's the problem? Its not like we don't have too many people in the world already...Procreation is rampant and believe me, homosexuals are not contributing to a reduction in the world's population.

I am a tolerant man. I am also a Christian, with strong beliefs. I also am proud to have gay friends and have no problem reconciling my beliefs with my friend's choices. My God does not punish good people just because the happen to love someone from the same sex.

If homosexuality is so wrong I'm sure your God will take care of it. But what I ask is, where is the LOVE you Christians purport to have for all of God's creatures?

They do not condemn or discriminate homosexual here in my country ...
