Whatever Happened to Carolyn Jones? >> She's DEAD but STILL FOND of THING >>>

A talented actress who was nominated for an Oscar and won a Golden Globe, Carolyn Jones was much appreciated by her fans before landing the iconic, tongue-in-cheek role of Morticia in The Addams Family.

Her early career was certainly helped by her marriage to the prolific producer, Aaron Spelling, but spectacular roles in the western epic, How the West Was Won, and Alfred Hitchcock's, The Man Who Knew Too Much, also propelled her into the limelight.

She became a household name with the role of Morticia and ended up being typecast and her career suffered afterward. She enjoyed a small rebound with a role in the daytime soap opera, Capitol, but was soon thereafter diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

Carolyn Jones died on August 3rd, 1983.
