Stephen King is one of my favorites, and as a horror author I strive to be a cuter version of him. I love writing about scary things so I wanted to share the news. A WCU student, my alma mater, and also where I work, have been chosen to create a film adaptation of Stephen King's short story 'Rest Stop.' It is a short from the collection 'Just After Sunset.' They are scouting for creepy rest stops.

Since Stephen King has given permission for them to create the film through King's program "Dollar Baby," he encourages young film students to create by sending a proposal and a dollar which gives the program its name.

The WCU student will make the film because he was chosen by King. That's pretty cool.
