The FBI's latest statistics on violent crime are out.
According to the FBI violent crimes include murder,rape,robbery and aggravated assault.
Crime had been declining slightly over the last 20 years but this year it rose just under 1 % nationwide.
The most dangerous states to live in are

1.Tennessee

Tennessee has the worst violent crime rate in the USA,there were in total 41,550 violent crimes,388 murders
2.Nevada

3.Alaska
Violent crimes per 100,000-603.2
Alaska is among the worst violent crime rates in part because of its forcible rape rate: 79.7 per 100,000 residents, the nation's highest rate
4.New Mexico
This state has one of the highest rates of drug use in the country
5.South Carolina
6.Delaware
Most of the crime in Delaware is in the Wilmington area.
7.Louisiana
Louisiana's murder rate per 100,000 is 10.8,the worst in the country.

9.Maryland
Heavy concentration of violent crime around Baltimore
