Family patriarch Phil Robertson confesses that much of the hit reality show Duck Dynasty is faked. In an interview with The Christian Post, Phil Robertson said that the television editors in Los Angeles have “no moral compass” and distort his family’s reality.

In the interview, Phil Robertson said, “They inserted fake beeps like somebody had used profanity, but no one had used profanity.” Robertson said he questioned the producers what was the point of the fake beeps.

He goes on to claim that the camera crew blamed the change on “15 or 20 editors” in L.A. Robertson went on to add, “They’re the ones arranging the scenes. Well, they’re the ones that said, ‘You know, I think it’d be cool here to maybe make it look like they’re cursing.”

When it comes to cursing, Phil Robertson claims that no one on the show swears. He also had advice for those who wanted to hear the cursing, changing the channel. Phil said, “If you want that, you can get all of that you want.”

“Just turn the station. There’s plenty of that. And if we’re not using profanity, why make it look like we’re using profanity? What is the point? Why don’t you just run it and say what we say?”

The “spiritual warfare” as Robertson calls it between his family and the producers continued when they asked him to change how he ends his family’s prayer. “The other thing was, when we prayed we said, ‘In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“And they would just have me say, ‘Thank you Lord for the food. Thank you for loving us. Amen.’ So I said, ‘Why would you cut out ‘In Jesus’ name’?”

According to Phil, the producers told him, “They said, ‘Well, those editors are probably doing that. And they just think that, you know, they don’t want to maybe offend some of the Muslims or something.”

When it comes to filming the hit reality show, Robertson insists, “You gotta remember, it’s spiritual warfare. I mean, you’ve got people with no moral compass. It aint there. So what I tell people is to be patient.”

“They’re the ones, they own the network and we’re filming the show. We signed the contract with them, ok, and it’s a workhouse, but what people have to understand is, the people of god have to understand you’ve just got to be patient.”

“You don’t turn that ship quickly. It’s a big ship. A lot of depravity and a lot of heathen and a lot of the evil one. He is entrenched in the United States.”
