After dethroning Spain on going to Finals in EuroBasket, France gained their championship trophy for the first time. They beat Lithuania 80-66 to win the EuroBasket crown. They will be joining the host country, Spain, the 2012 Olympic gold medalist team, USA, FIBA Asia teams and FIBA Americas teams for the FIBA 2014 World Cup of Basketball.
