&Moll-ified It would be worth a road trip for sure. :), or cross country drive as you stated. :)

&Gottahave Thanks so very much. :)

&LavenderRose Well I had never really dwelt on the address myself until I wrote this article and it simply crossed my mind, lol. ;)

That would be a place to visit just to say you have stood in four states at once which has got me thinking how many places are there in the USA that you can stand in 3 states at once.

&gypsymarquis I think it would be a great place to add to your list without any doubt! Thanks for sharing!

&upnaway I love the western states as well as all areas, lol. We are lucky to have so many different types of landscapes all within our borders! Thanks for stopping by. :)

&SandraLynn You are most welcome and thank you as well. :)

Ha ha that's a great question, what would the address be? When we move to the States, we plan to do a road trip. Think we'll have to add this monument to the list of places to check out. Great post.

This is very interesting. I have not heard of this nor seen it. Would be awesome to see it in person.

&something_clean Most true! I guess that would be true for all the various boundaries and such out there. :) Thanks for stopping by! :)

I remember reading about this place in elementary school! It's interesting to think that the boundaries are totally arbitrary and man-made, though... it's only the four corners because we SAY it is.

&stekka It could have been how they picked the address for this location as well. I would think however that with states involved, there probably was a lottery of sorts to award the address. :) I wonder who owned the land that this intersection was on, lol.

&MobyD It has changed over the years from what I remember as well. Thanks for the information on the address. :) Always great to learn these things because we never know when we may need to alert the aliens of such information! :)

&barau You are most welcome and thank you for stopping by. :)

I remember visiting there as a kid. It shouldn't be so significant, but it is.

Our airport is in several cities and counties. They just picked one to have an address.

&writinglover3 That would be cool if it did work that way in the kitchen or other places, lol. :)

&kristen Cool! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully there was no bloodshed if they had to fight over it!

&Jebo55 That would be a good idea...have the restaurant revolving like above the current monument. :) You are welcome and thanks for sharing!

&ElvenaDracos I recall hearing of such a place or places in the cartoons as well over the years, and quite a few years ago, lol. :)

&mtgywriter The last time I did it was in the mid 90's if I recall correctly. :) Thanks for sharing.

Interesting &Dale First i've ever heard of it. Wouldn't it be nice if the monument revolves very slowly, something like the Post Office Tower in London; where one can sit and sip coffee while on a visual tour of 4 states in 120 seconds. Thanks for sharing.

Good to know. Thanks to you, I am prepared to do this.

I suppose it's a boundary where four states meet.
