Well, I am not afraid to admit a problem that a lot of people deal at sometime in there life. I especially want to share this because I believe it will be helpful to others. I am 32 weeks pregnant and have notices some icky roaches. Being pregnant there is almost nothing I can use to feel completely safe about.
So I have tried various non toxic methods. The one that I found that actually works is baking soda and powdered sugar!
This is something that is inexpensive and non toxic! The baking soda acts very similar to Boric acid or Borax. It dries the roaches out and causes them to die. The sugar is an attract to the baking soda.
Things you will need:
1/4 cup b. soda.
1/4 cup powdered sugar or granulated sugar if you do not have powdered!
Soda bottle caps or milk jug caps.
Mix the sugar and soda. place in caps and place caps around areas you have seen bugs. Put a capful of water close distance to the mixture and leave alone.
This has been know to work well for minor infestations.
Make sure to refill if needed. You can also put the mixture along baseboards and in corners if you do not have caps.
