Friends, family and supporters are seeking justice for the reported kidnapping and murder of Kristelle Davantes, a young advertising executive who went missing last Friday night only to be found dead in Silang, Cavite last Saturday morning. According to news reports, she was found with her mouth gagged with a handkerchief and her hands tied together by a car seat belt. Several wounds were also found in her neck leading police to suspect that the suspects may have strangled her. A wire (it wasn’t divulged which type of wire) as well as a knife were also reported to have been found near the body of the victim.
Davantes who is known by her nickname of Kae was last seen last Friday night. According to news reports, her last whereabouts was placed at a parking lot within the vicinity of Bonifacio Global City. She was seen driving out of said parking lot.
Davantes worked for McCann World Group Philippines’ MRM as a senior account manager. As of this writing, the police has yet to come up with any clues as to what happened and who are the perpetrators. Let’s just hope that this case gets solved.
Family and friends of Kae has set up a Facebook page for her. The page is simply titled Justice for KAE. In just a few hours after being created, the page already has over ten thousand “Likes”. The case is also a trending topic in various social media sites like Twitter.
