Where is Tina Louise Today? ALIVE and WELL at 79 and living in the Big Apple.
Once named the “World’s Most Beautiful Redhead,” Tina Louise was once a highly sought after leading lady who acted opposite Robert Taylor, Richard Widmark and Robert Ryan. Her film career, however, was sidetracked when she took on the role of the glamorous though somewhat self-centered, Ginger, on the 1960’s television series Gilligan’s Island.
Her film and Broadway careers never really recovered and she spent the next two decades looking for another chance that never developed. Her antipathy towards her iconic role was evident as she had almost nothing to do with any of the reunion shows or the cast after the series ended.
These days, she divides her time between painting and an interest in saving the domesticated honeybee.
